Description
The new standard for pressure care - the Polyair® 60 cushion with pneumatic air-cells is best suited to smaller, somewhat active patients at a
very high risk of pressure ulcer development who are independently able to shift their weight and require
little or no assistance with transfer.
The unique design of Polyair cushions provides many benefits to the user:
- The honeycomb shape air cells means there are more cells, providing greater support and stability
- Constructed from Laxprene, this improves the comfort for the user
- The waterproof cover is breathable, making it user friendly, washable and practical in the home environment
- The unique measure and valve system means you will always be sure you are correctly inflating the cushion - making use in the home by non-trained staff much simpler

The pressure measurement tool or manometer gives you a way of measuring accurately the amount of air that is pumped into the cushion – while on it. You take 4 easy steps
- Measure around the buttocks to the belly.
- Measure your weight.
- Look at the handy inflation chart in the box and note which level the two numbers intersect.
-
Simply connect the measure/pump tool and pump or deflate by squeezing the rubber ball until the scale LED displays your number.
- Check it about every 7-10 days to ensure the correct level of air is maintained - its' that simple!
